Craftsmen, artists, ceramics and industrial designers work in an environnement of continual quest : for technological and material tools and for new insight that attempts to redefine efficacy and cultural analysis. Observing technological developpements in Israel and abroad and their influence in recent years on design and craft in general and on ceramics design in particular, shows that this area constantly offers fascinating possibilities that inspire artists and spectators to devote additional thought to the matter.
